Nothing much is revealed about this persons personal backstory. The Soldier is a fairly new but experienced recruit to the Dukes army where he proves himself a champion.Guided by a god long forgotten by time, he searches for absolute power. The Warlord is Kallas in his older days shortly before finding the game, he's on a quest for total domination and death to all who oppose him and his ideals. The Adventurer is Kallas several years before he went to the end of the world, this is the time period where most if not almost all the normal cards take place.Still training to be a soldier and eventually finding the Nymphs of the Sweetwoods in a far away forest. The Apprentice is Kallas in his younger years, he's gifted but not experienced. With one exception, The Apprentice, The Adventurer The Warlord. The fates in HoF1 are representations of people that came before Kallas. In tandem with what I said about the deck remembering past players. Which does give him the liberty to cheat if he so choses. The dealer can change the rules and fundamentally change the game. The deck also remember players/past dealers and is capable of intertwining peoples fates to the point where it seems like you have lived someone elses life. The cards are a representation of the players past, you will have to have lived a ''meaty life'' so to speak or else the game wont work. The chosen dealer is immortal and get's sent to the underworld upon a loss, whereafter the victor becomes the new dealer. It's most likely not man made and was found by an explorer at the end of the world. So we'll start with the game of life and death. There are a lot of spoilers in the thread so bare that in mind! If you don't agree with something I said or have another interpretation then please, I would love to hear your opinion. So I have a little fan lore theory to better make sense of the world in general. So I have been writing up and thinking about the actual lore of HoF since it is a very cryptic game and it might be a little difficult for everyone to get the subtle hints here and there.
